Most inflatable paddleboards are built to be convenient. The NRS Clipper is built to perform, and it happens to be convenient too.
From a quiet morning paddle on a Frontenac lake to a multi-day trip loaded with camping gear, the Clipper handles it all with a confidence that most inflatables can't match. That's because NRS didn't just scale up a recreational board and call it a tourer. They engineered the Clipper from the ground up with proprietary shaping technology that makes it stiffer, faster, and more stable than anything else in its class.
The result is a board that feels more like a hardboard than an inflatable — right up until you roll it up, stuff it in the included travel backpack, and toss it in the car.

The Technology Behind the Performance
The Clipper's performance starts with IST (Integrated Shaping Technology) — a multi-chamber construction method that lets NRS build real shape into an inflatable board. Most inflatables are flat slabs; the Clipper has an actual V-Hull nose for speed and tracking, a concave hull that channels water cleanly toward the fins for a quieter, more efficient ride, and a DropDeck™ that raises the rails to maintain volume while dropping the standing surface to lower your centre of gravity. The result is a board that's genuinely stable underfoot even in chop, even fully loaded.
Under that shape sits Z/Blend Core™ construction NRS's woven drop-stitch technology that makes the Clipper 20% stiffer and 15% lighter than boards built with traditional knit drop-stitch. Inflate it to 20 PSI and it's rigid underfoot in a way that has to be felt to be believed.
Choosing Your Size
The Clipper comes in four sizes, each with its own sweet spot:
Not sure which size is right for you? Come try them at the shop, we offer free test paddling on our lake in Sydenham, or give us a call and we'll help you figure it out.
Ready to Paddle, Easy to Pack
When the day's done, deflating the Clipper is quick and painless. The top-quality Bravo inflation/deflation valve has a smaller footprint than most, which means the board rolls tighter and packs down more compactly into the included travel backpack. Toss it in the car, the cottage, or the gear room. No roof rack, no trailer, no drama.
What makes it great:
In the box: Board, Super Pump II with pressure gauge, 1 Touring fin, 1 Grass fin, travel backpack, repair kit
